About Me

Story and background

I was born in Buenos Aires into an Italian family and grew up between Argentina and Italy. Living between languages and cultures has shaped the way I see the world — and the way I work. I am now based in Oslo, Norway, but my sense of home has always been plural.

My interest in languages and cultures grew naturally from this in-between life. Over time, it became a profession: helping people understand one another when language might otherwise stand in the way. For me, translation and interpretation are not only about words, but about context, tone, and the unspoken rules that shape how we communicate.

Alongside my work as a language professional, teaching has always been a central part of my life. I am deeply passionate about education and about creating learning spaces that are thoughtful, demanding, and human. Teaching allows me to share not only a language, but the cultural awareness and curiosity that come with it.

What matters most to me is working carefully and attentively. I believe that good language support — whether in teaching, translation, or interpretation — requires presence, curiosity, and a deep understanding of the people and the situations involved. I am naturally drawn to mediation and to creating clarity where things feel complex or fragile.

Since 2010, I have held a managerial role at Creating Connections, where I work in language education, interpreting, and translation. I am a Delta-certified teacher of Italian, English, and Spanish, and I also work as an education consultant.

In September 2023, I moved to Norway with my family. Since then, I have been teaching diplomatic Spanish at the Foreign Service Language Centre of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs — a role that brings together language, culture, and communication in a way that feels deeply aligned with my path.

Alongside language, illustration is an essential part of how I think and observe the world. It is a quiet, ongoing practice rooted in sensitivity and curiosity.
